In July 2026, MetropoliTango brings together Europe and the world for a unique event that hosts two distinct and official competitions, each with its own identity and purpose.

European Tango Cup:
An Official Preliminar of the Tango BA Festival & Mundial 2026.
Dancers competing in the European Tango Cup will follow the official path toward Buenos Aires, with access to the Finals of Tango BA Mundial 2026, according to regulations.

World Finals of the MetropoliTango Cup:
A separate international competition, marking the first-ever World Finals of the MetropoliTango Cup.
An independent contest, open to finalists from the MetropoliTango circuit worldwide, celebrating excellence, artistry, and the global tango community.

Premium Membership: € 97,00 - Valid for 1 season (from September 1st to August 31st)

Additional prizes and mentions may be awarded at the discretion of the Organization.

Note:

• The prizes indicated represent the maximum amount that can be awarded for each category.
• The full allocation of prize money is subject to reaching a minimum of 30 participating couples in each category.
  For the Tango Milongueros category (Leader & Follower), the minimum requirement is 30 effective couples on the dance floor, corresponding to 30 Leaders and 30 Followers.
• If this minimum number is not reached, the organization reserves the right to proportionally adjust the prize amounts.
• Prize money is not cumulative. In the event that a couple or participant wins in multiple categories, only the highest-value prize will be awarded.
• The organization reserves the right to modify the prize pool due to organizational needs or force majeure.
• Any changes will be communicated prior to the start of the competition.
